Can we talk about the time I picked a bar of dish soap over real Photo-Flo?
I ran out of Photo-Flo halfway through rinsing a roll of HP5 last month and panicked in my kitchen in Fresno, so I grabbed the Dawn and put two drops in the tank. Big mistake, because the negs came out with these greasy swirls that took three rewashes to clear. I ended up redoing the final rinse with actual Photo-Flo at 1:200 and the spots finally went away. The photos of my dog at the park survived, but barely. Has anyone else tried a kitchen substitute in a pinch, or am I the only one who has done this?
