Chose a $9 notebook over a $35 app and my handwriting got better
I keep a daily log of my backyard chicken stuff, egg counts, feed amounts, weird behavior, all of it. For about 6 months I was doing it in a notes app on my phone, and I kept losing entries or forgetting to log. Last month I grabbed a $9 dotted notebook from a shop in Portland and switched to pen only. My handwriting looked awful the first week, all cramped and shaky. By week 3 I slowed down and started actually forming letters, and my notes got way easier to read back. Plus I remember things now because writing by hand makes it stick. Anyone else switch from typing to paper for tracking stuff and notice their writing change?
