Took me 3 hours to find a bad ground loop in a Dallas high rise

Panel kept throwing false alarms every Tuesday around 2pm. Customer swore it was ghosts. Turns out a loose ground on a door loop in the stairwell, intermittent when the HVAC kicked on. Multimeter showed 12 volts floating where it should be zero. Anyone else chase phantom signals like this or am I the only one who skips the basics first?

The Tuesday 2pm clue is the real tell, most guys ignore the time pattern. Check if the HVAC contractor's maintenance schedule lines up with that window, that would've cut your hunt down to 20 minutes.
