Tbh, I never thought about my air fryer helping the planet until last month

Honestly, I was just trying to make fries faster. But then I read that air fryers use way less power than big ovens. Ngl, it made me switch to cooking more small meals in it. Now I feel good knowing I'm using less energy. It's a small change, but it adds up.

Getting a reward for being lazy about heating the kitchen is my kind of environmentalism.

Wait his power bill went down BEFORE summer? That's crazy, I always thought ovens were just always hungry for power.

My buddy got one just for hot wings, but then his power bill went down a whole month before summer even hit. He figured out it was because they'd stopped using their big oven for almost everything, like roasting veggies or even baking potatoes. He said it felt like a weird bonus, like getting a reward for being lazy about heating up the whole kitchen. Now his family tries to see what else they can cook in there just to keep the big oven off. It totally changed how they look at making dinner on weeknights.
