Pro tip: that 400mg caffeine limit most people quote is way less than I thought?
I was reading a health blog last week and it said the safe daily caffeine limit for most adults is about 400mg, which is only around 4 small cups of drip coffee, not the giant mugs I pour at 3pm. Now I'm torn between cutting back my afternoon cups or just ignoring the number since I feel fine and sleep okay anyway. Anyone here actually track their milligrams, or do you just drink until your hands shake?
That "400mg is a lot less than I thought" thing is kind of the point though, right? The number sounds scary on paper but it was picked to cover almost everyone, so the shaky hands crowd is probably the real warning sign, not some blog math. If you sleep fine and feel fine, the limit is just a guess about an average person, and you are not an average person.
